Houston Texans Football Online
The history of the Houston Texans dates back to 2002, when the expansion Texans became the NFL’s 32nd team. The team colors are navy, red and white and the team mascot is named Toro. The Texans logo is a red, white and blue bull’s head that resembles the state flag of Texas.
The Texans natural rivalries are with the Tennessee Titans – the former Houston Oilers team that relocated to Nashville in 1997, the Indianapolis Colts and the Jacksonville Jaguars. Bob McNair is the majority owner of the Houston Texans and was the primary force behind bringing the NFL back to Houston.
Reliant Stadium is the home of the Houston Texans and it opened in 2002. Reliant Stadium currently seats 71,054 fans. The Houston Texans are a member of the American Football Conference of the National Football League and compete in the AFC South division. The Texans won the AFC South in 2011 and 2012.
