The St Louis Rams joined the NFL in 1937 as the Cleveland Rams. The franchise moved to Los Angeles in 1946 and became the Los Angeles Rams. In 1948, horns were painted on the side of the player’s helmets, making the Rams the first football team with a helmet emblem. The LA Rams moved to St Louis prior to the 1995 NFL season.

The Edward Jones Dome is the home of the St Louis Rams and it opened in 1995. The Edward Jones Dome currently seats 66,000 fans. The St Louis Rams are a member of the National Football Conference of the National Football League and compete in the NFC West Division. The Rams won two NFL Championships, in 1946 and 1951, before the NFL-AFL merger and participated in three Super Bowls, winning in 1999.
